Wade Robson says that he will sue Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson for slander, if Joe continues to call him a liar.
In a video interview with TMZ, Joe says of Wade, “He’s lying… Michael was so generous to him at first, but he’s lying [about] Michael, and he’s not the only one behind this,” indicating his belief in a conspiracy plot to drag his son’s name through the mud (possible AEG?,) shared by many.
He ends his speech, emphasizing “He is lying because they paid him to lie.”
Following this Wade’s lawyers have hit back with a cease and desist, claiming, “Your statement is particularly reprehensible in light of the fact that [Wade] has only recently been able to come forward which is so typically characteristic and tragic for so many survivors of sexual abuse” this is followed by the lawyers threatening legal action should Joe speak more of conspiracy theories.
